# Introduction

> Generate images, video and audio with Blon from your own code.

The Blon API runs Blon's image, video and audio models from your server. You submit a **job**, Blon runs it on the model's provider, and you read the finished files from the same job.

## Ways to use Blon

> [card] [API key](https://docs.blon.ai/authentication.md)
>
> Server-to-server calls with a `blon_api_` key. Amounts are in US dollars.

> [card] [CLI and Skills](https://docs.blon.ai/cli.md)
>
> The `blon` command and Skills for coding agents. Sign in with your Blon account; spends your credits.

> [card] [MCP](https://docs.blon.ai/how-to/mcp.md)
>
> Connect an AI client over OAuth. Spends your credits.

This documentation follows the API key path. The CLI and MCP pages cover the other two.

## Conventions

* Requests and responses are JSON.
* Field names are `snake_case`.
* Times are RFC 3339 in UTC, for example `2026-10-30T08:00:00.000Z`.
* Amounts are decimal strings, for example `"0.48"`, never floats.
* Every response carries an `X-Request-Id` header. Include it when you contact support.
